I have been in private practice as a sex therapist and family and relationship counsellor in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada since 1988. My education includes:

I have been writing the Ask the Expert column in Xtra newspaper for the past seven years and for the past two have served as supervisor of the in-house therapists at Health Initiatives for Men in Vancouver. I have also been a contributing columnist to the Huffington Post since last year.
I taught sexuality classes in the Women’s Studies and Continuing Education departments at Simon Fraser University in the 90s and wrote and hosted a TV show for OUT-TV, Let’s Talk Sex in 2008. I am a regular contributor to magazines and other media and present at colleges, universities and other groups regarding sexual issues.
