Transkids.us
This site offers an annotated bibliography of research
into autogynephilic transsexualism. This research
is innovative, controversial, and sometimes confusing.
This bibliography provides a helpful way to sort through
the data.
We have a new annotated bibliography on our website
at http://www.transkids.us/biblio.html.
The resarch and commentary is by transkids.us author
Alex Parkinson.
One criticism, made primarily
by transsexuals, often aimed at anyone who supports
the autogynephilia/homosexual typology of m2f transsexualism
is the claim that Dr. Blanchard's papers are the only
published research on the subject, that they have
never been replicated, used inappropriate methodology/controls,
etc. etc. We knew this was not true, so our bibliography
lists over 50 citations mostly of research on either
one of the two type of M2F TS or which differentiates
the two populations. Also included are papers which
use the same typology as Dr. Blanchard which replicate
his findings both before and after his original papers
were published.
If anyone knows of any
citations which we may have missed please
let us know.
